Why I Built This App
Basically, because I'm horrible at remembering people's names. There have been way too many times where I've met someone out walking my dog, had a short conversation with them, but then walked away only remembering their dog's name. After getting fed up with myself, I made a resolution to do better, so I started taking notes on my phone writing down people's names, their dog's name, then little descriptive reminders about that person and their dog. That worked for a bit, but I eventually ended up with this massive note on my phone with all these names and info, and it became impossible to decipher anything. I tried changing the font color of the person's name and then another font color for the dog's name to make them both easier to find, but there was just way too much information in this one note. After that, I thought to myself, "Why don't I just make a mini database app that is lightweight and efficient for keeping track of acquaintances", then boom, If I Must was born. Hopefully, after you read the Quick Guide in the menu, you too can start being better at remembering people's names. I've tried to make this app so streamlined that it only takes a tiny amount of effort on your part to ultimately increase your value as a person significantly. Use it for when you are out walking your dog, at work, at school, at a meeting, at an event, or just anywhere where you might meet people out in the wild. Thanks for trying my app!
